Quotations With My Art

Quotations by great intellectuals have fascinated me.
To be able to succinctly describe an idea or a philosophy is an art.

In the 1700's the situation on Earth was summed up by Voltaire who said "If there is life on other planets, then Earth must be the Universe's insane asylum"

My humble quote about our planet, is not as humorous:

"There is a large void in Earth's atmosphere, where Compassion once resided".

In the painting I have manipulated the original sketch to convey the meaning of my quote.

I hope in my lifetime I will see that void well and truly reduced.
