We know that artists have changed the colours of a work by using different techniques and media such as silk-screen, etching, Lino cuts, wood block & more.
The Mission:
1. To provide the Design & Architectural community & Home Owners with quality art to satisfy their decorative goals.
2. To prove to art galleries & open art exhibition coordinators, that my work process leads to "Art Made By My Own Eyes, Mind & Hands".
1. The Interior Design & Architectural Community:
For over 40 years, I have worked closely with Designers and Architects. I understand their need to find the right items to complement their designs and ensure it has the correct feel and look. I also understand how frustrating it can be trying to ensure that all the elements come together. Their time is invaluable, and my creative process will provide them with the perfect, highly personalized artwork to enhance any interior. The same applies to individual looking for art to fit with any private home or office.
Select a work from the Opus Series. If you love you keep it as is or I will adjust it to better fit your project’s finishes by personalizing its colour and size.
As if I'm being commissioned.
I can work with you and/or your designers in-person or remotely. It’s that simple.
2. The Process: To prove that the my art is Created With My Own "Eyes, Hands & Mind" as Do all artists.
-
Select one of the many paintings made over the years.
-
Select and digitize segments of the painting.
-
Using various apps, the segments are combined to make patterns and motifs, creating iterations.
-
When completed, I will enhance where necessary. My computer's screen is my canvas and its curser is my brush.
-
The work is then printed, enhanced by hand if necessary, scanned and signed - THIS NOW BECOMES THIS IS NOW THE ONLY "ORIGINAL" WORK
The advent of AI should be of concern to the Art World.
After reading a recent "MIT Technology Review" June 18th 2024 article "Why Artists are becoming less scared of AI" by Melissa Heikkila who attended a conference in Hamburg Germany that debated this subject.
"...right now, we are in a moment where we are deciding how much creative power we are comfortable giving AI companies and tools..........at one of the largest events for creatives in Europe, and the message I got from those I spoke to was that AI is too glitchy and unreliable to fully replace humans and is best used instead as a tool to augment human creativity".
