By manipulating these segments I am able to create interesting & beautiful designs & patterns for a number of products.
These become Motifs and some artists who created using patterns and motifs are, Klimt, Escher, Beardsley & Warhol - I'm in good company :-)
I soon realised that the Motif series can only succeed if the colours remain as those in the original painting.
My technique is digital and technology augments the creative process. The monitor is my canvas, mouse is my brush, my digitized segments of my paintings and apps that provide textures and colours are my paints/media.
